Draven Rosco was the last Elder Chieftain of the Ordisian Empire, ruling from 916 AO until his death in 974 AO. Following his death, his son Shesä Rosco overthrew the Ordisian High Council and was crowned as Emperor, bringing an end to the Second Chieftainship Period and ushering in the First Imperial Period. Draven succeeded is father Oltho Rosco as the Chieftain of the Ordisian High Council for Ordisia, following his father’s death circa 910 AO. During this time, Draven’s uncle, Kharven Rosco was Elder Chieftain over the province of Khavun, but Kharven died in 912 AO with no children and without naming an heir, leaving an opening in the High Council for Elder Chieftain. Following this, Draven led the Ordisian army to victory against Kshwélan in the War of the Eastern Coast, garnering him widespread popularity. This popular support led the High Council to elect him as the new Elder Chieftain in 916 AO, despite his youth. During the first few years of his Elder Chieftainship, he wrote the Eastern Coast Records which provided a detailed account of the events of the War of the Eastern Coast. The rest of Draven’s reign as Elder Chieftain was known to be long and relatively peaceful, having cleared up the last remnants of the Eakä Revolt during the War of the Eastern Coast. But his death in 974 AO would mark an end of an era and a beginning of a new period of war with the start of the First Imperial Period.
