The Emperor of the Ordisian Empire, also known as the Ordisian Emperor, is the title held by the monarch of the Ordisian Empire during the First and Second Imperial Periods. During these periods, the Ordisian High Council that ruled the Empire during the First and Second Chieftainship Periods instead served an advisory role to the Emperor.
Relationship with the Ordisian High Council
Each emperor governed in their own way, and depending on the emperor, the Ordisian High Council might have more or less power and authority in the country. Under some emperors, the Ordisian High Council served purely as advisors to the emperor, who had the ultimate authority to enact laws and enforce them as he saw fit. While, under other emperors, the Ordisian High Council had power in their own right to make laws and direct funds without requiring the emperor’s direct approval. Nevertheless, the emperor always maintained the authority to veto an action by the Ordisian High Council.
